Training
VCU Occupational Health and Safety provides required and recommended safety training for workplace, research and clinical environments. Training is offered in both online and instructor-led formats and covers topics such as laboratory safety, occupational health and safety, and fire safety.
Most online courses are delivered through SciShield and assigned based on an individual's role or activities. Instructor led sessions and in-person trainings can also be requested for departments or teams by contacting dhos@vcu.edu.
